Art in the Park
So we have not been straying far from home and well all my outdoors posts are starting to look the same! One day the sun shines and I have my camera and I think to myself well the difference with this post at least will be the sunshine. The thing is admittedly once we got to the park the wee man took a b line towards the cafe. I can't say no to tea and cake now can I? Thankfully he found something they offered that interested him to get him back outside again. Nothing like a bit of chalk to get the creative juices going.

Photo of the Week
My little man always full of energy and can never seem to keep still. So when he looks all nice and cosy on the sofa chillaxing a little bit before bed, I love it. My little Fireman Sam. This is my photo of the week.

Science is always fun
I bravely decided to head to the Glasgow Science Centre today on the opening of it's new exhibition BodyWorks. When I saw the amount of groups of school children I did think about turning back. It's a great interactive exhibition but unfortunately not really well suited to a 2 year old. I have to be honest I was a little over come when he sat down to a computer game which involved the sperm making it's way successfully to fertilise the eggs! I was a bit thankful when he lost. Overall you will certainly come away not looking at your own body the same again. Science is always fun though and we happily made our way down to the toddler section to enjoy the rest of our morning. Maybe now they have successfully installed the new exhibition they can put a bit of focus back into this section again!

The odd moment
You know those moments you take a picture just because. You are not doing anything special but you want to capture this moment anyway. Maybe because I think that every moment with my wee man is special. My mum teases me and says that he is the most photographed boy on earth. It's just that I don't want to miss anything. I want to appreciate everything even the odd moments.
A special thank you to DearBeautiful and MummyDaddyandMe who inspired this post and inspire with their amazing family photography!

Facing the elements
So the weather has made a lovely u-turn to wintery times. Rain, sleet and snow. My being excited for an afternoon of sunshine was dashed quickly to the curb when the wee man came home early from nursery with a high temperature. Thankfully whatever it was quickly faded and we were able to make our Stirling play date on Friday but that afternoon sunshine had other ideas and never showed it's face again. With two over excited children who both had refused to have afternoon naps were two mummies who would do anything to wear them out a little bit. The usual crowded Kings's Park in Stirling was empty. Nothing better than having so much space to yourself.
They did not have to fight with anyone to use the equipment except maybe each other.
The bad weather does not stop them from having fun. Wrap up warm and face the elements.

Daddy Time
Today is the feast of St Joseph, for Italians it is Father's Day. My wee man does not need an excuse to let his Daddy know that well he is "my daddy" and that makes him the best daddy. He is the one my wee man shouts for first thing in the morning. Going out is so much easier if daddy is coming. He even goes and gets daddy's shoes.
Daddy can make simple pleasures extra special.
Daddy is fun. Daddy is laughter. Daddy gives tickles in all the right places. Daddy makes the wee man fly and reach new heights.
Daddy shares the best bits.
Daddy is always there to offer a helping hand. Daddy will always be there for when he is needed.
He is the best daddy every day of the year!

This smile
I have a screen saver on my computer that brings up pictures that I have saved on my computer. Just this weekend a picture of my wee man popped up with his big grin and well I just had to smile too. His smile just does that to me. Always has. It's infectious. It's like when it has been raining all day and suddenly the sun comes out and you get this amazing sunset. I wanted to write a poem about it but I am no good at verse! I am not too bad at pictures and well they do tend to speak a thousand words.
