Winter park accessories

So we have the wellies (I have my eye on some fireman Sam winter boots), thermal socks, heavy jacket, gloves and even waterproof trousers for the mud. I'll be honest we are still cold! It's not even officially winter right? I am so trying to think of different "activities" to keep us warm. So our additional winter accessories list includes balance bike, chalk, blowing bubbles, collecting and swishing leaves (that may be snow soon) and this week...football...

I will be honest after we needed to go the cafe to warm up!

  1. Ha ;) Why do kids love balls so much! It's so lovely to see them entertained by a football for ages ;) x

  4. Football is a fun way of keeping fit and warm and the photos show how happy the wee man is running around after the ball. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

  5. Great action shots! Here the kids move into their winter gear straight after half term... Full on snow suits and boots the lot... And they probably won't be out of them until March either! :D Keep warm :)

  6. It's funny.... they don't seem to feel the cold that much, whereas us parents, well me, feels the cold so readily after we been out for only seconds. X

  9. I love this, all we seem to do lately is layer on layer on layer - although we recently got the little man a waterproof suits from waterproof world - they do some great toddler lined winter suits. But yes thermal socks and thermal underwear and wellie is a must :)

  11. I've got a pair of thermal leggings which I wear under my trousers and they help no end, plus The Boy wears long johns under his joggers (I often find jeans make me feel colder?). And this weekend I think will be the time to get his ski-suit out for outdoor play, we got ours from Matalan for £25; worth a look?

I love the determination on his face, such a clever boy to run and kick the ball.

    Popping over from Country Kids.
