I put my wee man to bed on Thursday night and whispered to him that we were going to the mountains in the morning and would hopefully find some snow. He whispered one word back at me "snowman". I crossed everything that we would find snow in the morning. We drove to San Giorgio and thankfully there was plenty. The wee man could not contain his excitement. It was fascinating seeing the different imprints you can leave in the snow. There was a bit of slipping and sliding and sometimes our feet sunk deep into the snow to make huge holes! I'll have you know that it is so much easier making castles with snow and the wee man just loved it! It was not long before everyone was throwing snow balls at each other and of course we had to build a snow man. I guess the pictures give it away that we all forgot to bring our gloves but somehow we managed and the wee man was never going to admit that his hands were getting cold. We went to the play park for a bit which was covered in snow. We still managed to have a go on the slide and the swings. We all built up a huge appetite so went to a beautiful restaurant for our lunch where the wee man ordered his favourite - Spaghetti with parmeggiano.

ReplyDeleteOoh the snow! My three-year-old hasn't seen snow since it doesn't snow down in Cornwall where we live. Well, it did actually - the year I was pregnant with her. But that was considered a phenomenon! Would so love for her to play in the snow too. Perhaps, we'll manage to go on holiday in a place where it snows too! :) #CountryKids.
