The First Tree Climb

There is a wooden ladder that hangs from the tree in the Nonni's garden. It is an invitation to every child's sense of adventure to climb the tree. My wee man says to me that he can't climb the ladder to touch the first branch of the tree. I simply repeat with no pressure that yes he can. So eventually he did. Touching that first branch quickly led to instructions on how to climb onto the tree.

When he got onto the tree there was a beautiful look of pride on his face. Then there was a look of confusion.

"What do I do now mummy?"
"What do you want to do?"
"Climb higher! "

  6. Oh my goodness that's just wonderful. What a great story and a brilliant moment to capture. I love the "what do I do now Mummy", POD says that - unless she's just launching herself off things! He looks ecstatic in that first photo. Great post, thank you so much for sharing #whatsthestory
