Art in the Park

So we have not been straying far from home and well all my outdoors posts are starting to look the same! One day the sun shines and I have my camera and I think to myself well the difference with this post at least will be the sunshine. The thing is admittedly once we got to the park the wee man took a b line towards the cafe. I can't say no to tea and cake now can I? Thankfully he found something they offered that interested him to get him back outside again. Nothing like a bit of chalk to get the creative juices going.

  1. How fab is that basket of fat chalks? Absolutely nothing wrong with outdoor adventures close to home when you keep inspiring your toddler with lovely activities like this. Some great close up photography too. Loving it!

    1. You do make me feel better with that comment! We don't always have the car to go further afield and I worry he is getting a bit bored of our local park.

  6. I love that little basket. Chalk is great for simple play outdoors, and it doesn't matter how old you are!

    1. Some really artistic people around Glasgow. We just took advantage! I LOVED just as much as he did really. Great for something to do together.

  12. That is a pretty fab activity, I can't get The Boy to draw on the patio as he thinks it's messy! ARGHH! I shall try again, once we have a dry patio (which is constantly flooded lately due to rain, or snow, or leaky drains!)

Nipping over from the Country Kids linky.
