Drumpellier Country Park

This week we took advantage of some nice weather and headed to Drumpellier Country Park only a 20 minute drive from Glasgow. There is a nice Loch which attracts the local birds and is just perfect for throwing stones and clambering over rocks with a paved path for the balance bike. There are two play parks. We slowly made our way to the first which though with dated equipment was actually perfect for the wee man's new found climbing skills. We then got distracted by the swans and accumulated a rather large collection of sticks. Woodland walks also veer off the main path but we never had the time to explore. We eventually made it to the second more popular play park to spend time digging in the sand, driving the train and having fun on the flying fox. It was a pleasant morning out and a change from our local.
