We only made it for about an hour and as a chance to grab an ice cream but well worth every minute. There was music, dancing and colour. My wee man was certainly captured by it all.

The Friday Song Choice
The wee man has decided to practice for the terrible twos so it's nice to have some peace throughout the storm. There is no surprises why Ludovico Einaudi reached number 1 in the classical charts.

Deejay
My wee man loves music. We got him musical instruments from very early and well the collection has grown. Hubby is a huge music fan and so there is always some music on in the background while we play at home. Our classical CD collection has grown. Now the wee man will actually ask to put a CD on and he sits in front of the stereo and dances and sings. We love to play with instruments and have a sing along. The best is to watch him when he plays with more than one instrument. Like a proper deejay he get's a background beat and then bangs along with his drum or shakes a shaker. The boy has got rhythm! He is our very own "Frankie G"...soon to be new member of the Easy Crew....Irie Man!
I'm linking up with See it Snap it Love it over at Dear Beautiful where the theme is "one word title"

I am the music man
"I am the music man and I come from down your way and I can play!"
"What can you play?"
My wee man has always loved music. Dancing to it, singing along to it and playing the instruments. We have always noticed this love of music by watching him play with his toys or while at your usual bounce and rhymes and bookbug classes. He was a very avid and loud drummer! When he started learning the words to the songs he was suddenly keeping the time to the music if you sang along while he played. I still am pretty impressed with this!
"I play the piano!"
"Pia-pia-pia-no, pia-no, pia-no; pia-pia-pia-no, pia-pia-no"
Only recently he has had a few goes with the real things. Whenever he sees them they are like magnets and he has to have a go. What is pretty impressive about it all is that he appears to instinctively know how he should do it. When you listen it could easily pass for some sort of avant garde jazz piece. Honestly even friends have commented on it. So I could have a natural on my hands. Something else to add to my "What is my son going to be in the future?" list!
Now I just have to choose an instrument! Anyone know how early you can start?

The Friday Song Choice
Sometimes we all need time to take stock and reflect. I always find myself in the classical music at these times. This is my favourite piece. A lot has been happening in my family lately and they are all in my prayers today and well everyday really.
