You took a while to raise your wary head. Kind of like me some mornings. My wee man though was always ready to go even if you and I weren't.
Some days you really conquered us though with your colours of beauty. My wee man was maybe not always generous with your offerings preferring maybe to pick them apart but at least he recognised the beauty "Pretty, mummy. Pick Flower." We never let your showers beat us and well muddy puddles are one of life's simple pleasures.
We have discovered new places with you and revel in the sights that you bring us. It's been a time of great discoveries and explorations but we still are yet to find the elusive bear. Sometimes you even let us take our jackets off and of course we can't forget the ice cream.
As a family we have had the pleasure to grow and change with you. Wee man has grown a lot taller and is sporting new shoes. He's gotten a bit braver, a lot less shy and is definitely a chatterbox. Mummy's got a new job and even Daddy has lots to look towards on the horizon.
You have taught us if anything to be patient and enjoy all the little things that we have got.
Let's be honest Spring you rocked.
I'm joining in with Older Mum (In A Muddle) and her beautiful seasonal linky One Week. A few words and photographs reflecting our experience of Spring 2013
Wow it has to be said your photography just gets better and better. Each time I think you have done your best you just keep topping it time and time and time again.
ReplyDeleteI hope I haven't already asked you this but what camera do you use?
