Dean Castle Country Park

So we went on a bear hunt. We managed to find a whole load of different animals but I'm afraid we still have not found it. We did get to take our shoes and socks off and get our feet wet in the river which possibly made up for it. Then there were the sticks and stones to fill our bucket and a pond to throw the stones into. The new favourite thing is the picnic because we usually get to eat some crisps and suddenly lunch time is fun again. I was just happy for the sunshine to enjoy it all in and there was a beautiful walk around the park while the wee man rested his wary head. Overall it's a bit run down at the seams but Dean Castle Country Park was worth the day out. (P.S. Anyone who can give tips for taking pictures in the forest will be much appreciated)

  5. sorry you didnt find a bear (although safer of course!) but what a lovely family day out. Your boy looks so happy in the photos and the one of him holding his cap in the woods is very sweet. but my favourite pics are of him dipping his toes in the water - how wonderful for him x

    1. I'm sure only friendly bears live in Scotland :) He was very excited to take his shoes and socks off. Unfortunately it was a bit slippery so could not venture too far.
