While you were sleeping...

The wee man does not tend to sleep for long while we are out and about. He likes his own bed it seems to have a proper afternoon nap. Still it's nice when we go out for the day to have the option of a quiet walk to get him to sleep for at least a half hour. To be honest we all need the break! Our day at Finlaystone Country Estate was complete with a walk through the formal gardens for mummy and the nonni. It was sensory overload, with the sights and smells of the blossoms. It was in points wild and at points more formal. You could sit and enjoy a lovely view over the Firth of Clyde or relax in the "smelly" garden with the beautiful fragrance of mint. I might just have felt a little guilty at the end that the wee man missed it while he was sleeping.

  2. Aaron used to sleep for longer in his buggy - an afternoon nap in the buggy would be 2 full hours (often longer) whereas at home it would only be 40 minutes and he'd be expecting me then to be lying next to him.
So I could never (hardly ever) get anything done.
Don't get me wrong he DID ocassionally sleep in bed for 2 hours but because I wouldn't be expecting it I wouldn't use the time properly IYKWIM.

  3. Oh my! Just gorgeous! I love how the orangey flowers (azaleas maybe?! I am trying to learn names honestly!) appear to be reaching up to the sunshine.
You've reminded me that I live near to Exbury Gardens which is just the most awesome place to go to relax and walk about the prettiness.
That Estate looks so well maintained and to have such lovely sunshine too - perfect.

Thank you for joining in again sweet cheeks x
