I'm not a big fan of thunder storms so we have hidden indoors mostly this week. We have been out and about but mostly to our local museum and swimming. I'll be honest to say that the wee man's behaviour this week has kind of reflected this. We need to work on following the rules and moving on from activity to activity. Oh and sharing. He wants to do everything himself and gets quickly frustrated when he can't. Stubborn is a good word for my little man. The days when we are out and about when activities are a bit more de constructed things run a bit more smoothly. So we both enjoyed our little trip yesterday afternoon to the Riverside Museum where we took advantage of a rather big sand pit. It's actually been set up for games of beach volleyball. We took our bucket and spade and were rolling around in it by the end.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great sand pit! He looks like he's having a lot of fun. I take Lucas to our local art gallery to the children's bit and he can sometimes run riot, stressed Mummy! I hope he outgrows this x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great sandpit. I totally know the kind of week you mention, my little man is exactly the same #CountryKids
ReplyDeleteThat's a huge sand pit and at first I thought you were on a beach till I saw the cars in one of the pics. Z is wanting to be very independent all the time. Everything is "my do it, my do it!" and he has no patience at all if he can't do it first time.
ReplyDeleteI seriously don't think there is anything better for toddlers than a giant sandpit, my son loves them and would stay in our local one for hours, it does usually end in a tantrum when we have to leave he loves them that much. Looks like your little man had lots of fun :)
ReplyDeleteLaura x

ReplyDeleteThat looks fab - a huge sandpit indeed! The stubbornness is setting in already with my 16mo, and she really can't do too much for herself yet! Grrr :) Glad you managed to get out between the thunderstorms x
