Having been to the Crieff Hydro hotel before I was very excited at the opportunity to go again! With the wee man being a whole year older it was going to be a different experience for us. There are so many things to do that all my expectations were met. From getting lots of exercise indoor to getting lots of fresh air outdoor. The staff are always amazingly friendly and patient.
We had great fun at the adventure playground. Over two days there was lots of climbing, lots of "weeing" down the slides and wobbly bridges conquered. I think we successfully managed to get everything covered in mud!
We had to check out the soft play. Even though only the lower level was technically according to the guidelines "age appropriate" for him it did not stop him so neither did I. Even I found the slide at the top a bit fast and daunting but it did not stop him as he said "bye bye mummy" and literally flung himself down it!
We had our first shot on a trampoline which he much preferred going on solo before he butted in to Mummy and Daddy's jenga game and toppled over our tower.
I enjoyed walks with lovely views, most of which he did sleep through. I think I took the pram rather boldly where no pram has been before and a rather mighty bump awakened him a bit early because all of a sudden I was hearing "tree, tree, tree". We also spotted some horses and if there is a next time he might just be brave enough for a pony ride. There was a lovely garden with a small pond where we managed to stretch our legs and get our hands dirty.
It's a wonder we managed to find time to rest!
what beautiful photos looks like the trampoline was enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny he did not want to go on it at first and it was only until I got off that he would go on it and then of course we had a fight to get him down!
DeleteWhat a brilliant set of photos. Looks like you all had fun.
