After a holiday away it's always nice to keep things simple and head to our local park. The wee man's new fascination is playing "tennis" granted it is with a ping pong set at the minute. We can't head to our local now without a break for tea and cake and they always have a supply of chalk for him to get into.

Aaahh looks like fun. Love the one where he's jumping off the ground with the "tennis" racquet, gorgeous. Popping over from country kids
ReplyDeleteI did not even realise when I had captured it! It's been a great present.
DeleteThese photos are lovely. My kids are a bit like caged animals this week because it's been too wet to get out much. It looks like your little man had a lovely time in the wintery great outdoors. x
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like the photos Lucy I turned the camera to manual so eek a lot of the photos did not make the last edit!
DeleteThis post has just given me a light bulb moment! I don't need big pictures to make beautiful pictures! Lovely
ReplyDeleteThe ping pong set is a great way for The Wee Man to perfect his hand to eye co-ordination and get ready for some tennis! Lovely photos of lots of outdoor fun and games, thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos with the chalk, and the action shot with the ping pong bat! You can just see what a great time he's having :)
ReplyDeleteWe love the park and puddles here too! I much prefer it in the winter months when it's quieter and we're wrapped up all warm ;) Plus has the added bonus of nackering them out more too! lol x
ReplyDeleteOh his boots look very solid. WOW. We just had to exchange wellies that only lasted 6 weeks and developed a hole. Who supplies the chalk then? Liska xx
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a fun afternoon. Tea and cake is always a winner ;0)
ReplyDeleteI love his boots! They look perfect for the winter :) Looks like someone is enjoying his cake too!!

ReplyDeleteWow he really is growing up and I love the ping-pong tennis set - thats a good idea, may need to get one for my little man. What is an adventure outdoors without a pit stop for a cupcake :)
